Learning objective

Recognize nine recurring sacred and structural forms only after exact occurrence verification.

Language analysis

All nine are emphatic-state or fixed formula forms in the selected passages. Their theological or symbolic referents remain passage-dependent.

Practice

For each of the nine forms, cite the verified page and translate only the immediate phrase in which it occurs. Which three soul terms are explicitly related in III 170a?

Answer key

קודשא בריך הוא / שכינתא / אורייתא — II 169b; נפשא / רוחא / נשמתא — III 170a; ימינא / שמאלא — II 27a; צדיקא — I 66b. III 170a says רוחא attends נפשא and later identifies רוחא and נשמתא in the construction of the human body.
