WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT

Pronouns/reference

Zoharic exposition frequently shifts between levels and referents without repeating the full noun each time. Pronouns are therefore essential vocabulary, not a minor grammar topic. The learner repeatedly links איהו, איהי, אינון to the exact noun or concept they refer to, while האי/דא point to “this” item in the discussion. The course never assumes that knowing “he/she/they” is enough; reference tracking is part of the vocabulary lesson.
