EXAMPLES
What the Aramaic says — ‘Come and see: when the priest below spreads his hands, then a higher spirit shines and goes forth; all the lamps shine, lights are drawn and illumined, and they are bound one with another until the face of Knesset Israel is illumined—all through the first light, which is the priest. When the priest is awakened below, the priest is awakened above; by deeds below an awakening above is aroused. Therefore: “Established shall be the mountain of the house of Hashem at the head of the mountains.”’ Deeper meaning, attributed to this passage — the priestly blessing is presented as a below/above correspondence that conveys illumination to Knesset Israel.
