WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT
Possessive endings
Onkelos attaches person endings to nouns and prepositions. Genesis 12 supplies a cluster of second-masculine-singular forms: אַרְעָךְ, אֲבוּךְ, שְׁמָךְ. Genesis 3 supplies third-person forms: אִתְּתֵיהּ, ‘his wife,’ and לְהוֹן, ‘for them.’ Compare the bases and endings; do not treat the full words as indivisible vocabulary.
