WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT

אבי״ע

The abbreviation אבי״ע takes the opening letter of the names of the four worlds: אצילות, בריאה, יצירה, עשיה. In Lurianic prose the abbreviation may appear inside a sentence with little explanation, so the first reading skill is immediate expansion. The course does not require a full metaphysical account of the worlds on this slide; later source passages show how a particular sefer relates them.
