WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT

High-value action roots

A short set of action roots makes Targumic prose far more transparent. The course begins with roots that resemble familiar Hebrew — say, be, do, hear — then adds specifically useful Aramaic forms for give, come, go, see, arise, go out, and call/read. Each root is taught from exact Targum occurrences. A Hebrew cognate helps identify the idea, but the learner still sees the Aramaic stem and suffixes separately.
