Hebrew begins on the right side of a word or line and moves toward the left. Your eyes should travel in the same direction as the letters. Vowel points and cantillation marks may appear above, below, or inside letters, but they do not change the direction of reading. Do not reverse a Hebrew word into English order. Start at the right edge and let the Hebrew remain in its own written order.
