WHAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT

The poetic accent system

Psalms, Proverbs, and Job use a specialized Masoretic accent system rather than simply repeating the ordinary twenty-one-book pattern. A reader who studies these books needs a separate reference. The curriculum introduces the difference here and provides individual reference cards for major poetic forms such as oleh veyored, azla legarmeh, revia mugrash, deḥi, and tsinnor, together with their associated joining marks.
