Prepositions also take attached person-endings. Instead of writing a separate pronoun after לְ־, Hebrew forms לִי, לוֹ, and לָהּ. These are extremely common and deserve whole-form recognition. The vowels differ from the bare לְ־, so the reader should learn the inflected family rather than expect the preposition always to retain one vowel.
